My Passion

They said she is an illusion,

A passing thought, which will be forgotten,

When the fate takes its toll, she will be gone,

And you will find, my dear, an easy escape from the daemon,

Yet another epitome of infinite manipulation.

I said she is a dream,

If she is one, then forgetting is not an option,

Cause dreams are the essence of my reality, my form,

And fate may create hurdles, let there be potholes on all paths,

If manipulation is our nature, I am a born romantic.

Foolish we are born, Happy we can live.

P.s. I don't think I have any passion... The poem is dedicated to all my friends, Relatives and Novel and Movei characters who have one...

Gift

Rosebuds, Cards, Chocolates and Poems,

Many cliché methods, I thought about.

Beautiful, No bud was more than her,

Her smile, No card could quote,

Sweeter she is, far more than any chocolate,

She is herself a poetry… (The best one)

Helpless to find a suitable gift,

I went to see her without any,

And like Romeo to Juliet, I bent to offer my head,(*)

She smiled and kissed my forehead,

“I already got the best”, she said.

It was needless to pinch myself,

My mom woke me up before ‘The End’,

Who says, ‘Romance is the privilege of the rich’,(Oscar Wilde)

A dream at dawn, is all it costs….

(It doesn't need even a penny)

Horizon

High, high and higher, I went,
to see the horizons, I had heard about.
It's first sight, I saw, something
that is only an essence.

"So, this is how it looks from here...
Beautiful, I would love see it from various places.."
And this is how the journey began...

From Change

Into the deep hollow of my own eyes, stared I,

Searching the remains of those, which dug them,

I see some traces but no definite marks,

I have forgiven them, all, long ago.

Forgotten them, consciously or even otherwise,.

Have I risen or fallen, I wish to ask.

I have no answers, but one,

I have gathered some precious moments lived.

I take no pride to recount the minutes,

Of insanity, of hysterical reactions and simple yearnings..

My senses have ripen or have gone numb, know not I,

I see a comfort-breeze rushby, also gathering old leaves along.

Things have changed and they never will be the same.

Here they come, the rains

In the skies they have waited long, its time to come down,
The rush is very evident, they are returning to the place they belong,
The free abode from where, the scorching heat had kidnapped them.
The heat has run away today and they occupy the sky.

The dusty foliage has been washed today, a new landscape is born,
A splash and tap, a dhish and dum, they are making a new song.
Art is but an easy expression of the joy they bring along.

They have come to rule a happy reign; no heart can have an escape.
Gifts for some, delight for all, as poetry, beauty and romance.
They are god's messenger of love, his own work of art.

They are children of mother nature and so am I,
I welcome you my brethren, to come any share my pie.

what is it?

What is it?

It’s neither a run, nor is it a fall.

But I can hear it, it can be a call.

Like the slow rain outside, it is foggy but consistent

Like the dampness smelt inside, it is a plain feeling.

Is it missing you tonight or just a deception of my heart,

Rise of love or just a demand of my thought.

Naming of this feeling, should I await.

Or just hug it tonight, and leave the rest to fate.

Just want to see you, will you wait?

Dreams Part-2

Dreams

They say…

Dreams, broken and therefore forgotten,

(If our mistake is responsible for that)

Seldom attract regret, or influence our fate.

I said…

Dreams broken are rarely forgotten,

(If someone else is responsible for that)

Still don’t attract regret, but do influence our fate.

I saw a dream last night, and I worked for it today.

I attained the heights, scaled by none,

My glory spreads and my dreams won dignity.

“I dare to dream”, they say today.

I had a dream the night before the last, and I worked for it yesterday

I attained the heights, but someone surpassed me

The strength it gave to my arms is unsung and unheard of. (Even today)

“I dare to have faith in my dreams” is all I want to say today.

So dream my girl and make it big,

And dare to have faith in it,

And never regret when it is gone, or be overjoyed when it becomes yours,

For nothing is yours and there is nothing to lose.

Dream

Shy and simple, sweet and humble

Mothered by a hope, cradled by an idea;

The dream was born on a happy night,

For hours it kept me awake, by its innocent cry.

It’s a blessing of a god, let me father it tonight.

But with the dawn, I must rise,

To see it gone and pay the price. (In the form of sorrows mebbe)

Nevertheless the memoirs stay;

And help me fight, the plight.

But there will be dusk and sun will set.

When a new dream will be born…

She flowed by...(a rivulet)

She flowed by…

Came here today, I don’t know why,

Simply stand and sigh, as she flows by.

Have seen her for years, I am visiting her again,

But fresh is her beauty, and in this I dissolve my pain.

Rhythm of her flow , is all I hear.

Purity of her waters, I try to explore.

Images she shows, of all who are in proximity.

She is true to everyone, it’s her nature.

She has shaped them all, the diamonds at her bed.

Unto her love, even rocks cannot resist change.

Her origin knows no one; no one can find her end.

She will never be lovelier than she is now,...

(let me kiss her to feel her in my veins.)

Came here today, I know now why,

To see her smile and flow by..

Afraid to lose you dear

Here I am today, the vision of your eyes

So are you here, the smile of my face

You are my dream, my inspiration for life

I am your reality, true side of your identity

But what if I am gone, gone with the night….

The fading light and the fainting smile,

Your vision conquered by morning light.

The void inside, daunting you every moment.

And the identity overshadowed, you realize.

With the dreams lost in to the oblivion,

Life is like a desert and time flies like the wind.

The smile is now just an expression,

Truly speaking, I am scared and so are you

Tonight our hearts have just one thing to say,

“afraid to lose you dear…

…..”

Mumma, l want to fly...

Mumma, I want to fly..

Before I lose my Vision;

Before I start on beatenup paths;

Before I fast for a secure future;

Let me make-up my mind,

Let me follow my heart,

This is the only desire I have today,

Let me do or dei...

The pain to not have served you,

will stop me at every point,

Give me strength to do it, dear..

Comeon, let me fly....

From the bottom of my heart...

From the bottom of my heart....

Was born, will dei.

Between the two is where I lie...

Laughing on myself, singing others glory

with a smile I tell, my love story..

In some shady corner, I lived my life.

Hard-work and loneliness, were like my wife....

No music attracted me,no cause did I champion.

A lay man I was, was I not?

She came in to my life, like a wind on a seashore

Warmth of her talks, taught me to smile.

Beauties of nature, she helped me realize.

Now rhythm is my food and world my purpose

( Everything looks like a dream, I am scared I might wake up)

With waves she had come, she went away with the winds..

(I long for her, I am feeling chocked.)

And to hard work and loneliness, I got remarried

For her absence, I never cried..

She has taught me to smile, in tough times

Her gifts to me were a kind heart and a beautiful mind

I preserve them for her, for I am sure,

Someday she will come and just be mine....

Farewell from a mother…

Your return, I fear no more,

Your Love, still lies in my core .

If the Patriotism in your heart, you don’t respect,

Your Love to me, I suspect.

Put on your armor, go to the war,

Let your enemy not get far.

Your countrymen have faith, you are awake,

Their blessings and prayers, you shall take.

A warriors mother I am, I shan’t cry.

Look there my son, I see your destiny beckon,

It will sing songs of your bravery, when you die.

And the best of men, you will be counted on.

Go my son, make me proud..

Sing the anthem, sing it loud…

The Language of Silence

The Rain meeting a sea ,

The white downpour at night,

The play of sun and shadow,

The wind waving a leaf,

They said it all, in a divine way;

It was the language of silence.

(know not what)

I felt it strange, like it rained

It was beautiful, like the white downpour

It was so dynamic, like the play

Something unseen carried it, like the wind

I wanted to say it all, know not how

It was something somewhere. (know not what)

Like its nature, it took me its way;

And the language discovered itself.

And I said it all, in a divine way.
