Here they come, the rains

In the skies they have waited long, its time to come down,
The rush is very evident, they are returning to the place they belong,
The free abode from where, the scorching heat had kidnapped them.
The heat has run away today and they occupy the sky.

The dusty foliage has been washed today, a new landscape is born,
A splash and tap, a dhish and dum, they are making a new song.
Art is but an easy expression of the joy they bring along.

They have come to rule a happy reign; no heart can have an escape.
Gifts for some, delight for all, as poetry, beauty and romance.
They are god's messenger of love, his own work of art.

They are children of mother nature and so am I,
I welcome you my brethren, to come any share my pie.
