A Leaf’s song

Like a leaf passing a rain drop to another,

I want to show you my joy.

But the distance keeps me from doing it,

And therefore try to write, I.

The music of the splattering drops,

The dance of the happy green,

Infinite stretch of the grey sky,

Never better a scene have I seen,

Besotted by the drenched beauty,

An atheist me calls to the god,

“oh god, take the rains away,

or promise me to bring her along”

Closure

At the beautiful orange, spread across the sky,

With hopeful eyes, kept staring I.

With many a memoirs, of the day past by,

I was surely happy, but not high.

Through the day it was warm and bright,

But at the dusk, it was a distant delight,

I was scared, scared at the loss of the sight,

Of the dense darkness, at the fall of night.

So then with some courage, I looked away,

To discover the beautiful shade of grey,

And soon there was a white, never seen in the day.

Thus came the closure, mildly to stay

He left no trail

He left no trail, no actions to be spoken of.

Emanating from the common masses,

He had perceived benefit of the origin,

But could not escape the entrapment,

Of the mundane of other beings.

His face was soiled, in the same storm,

He soon met his end underneath.

Had he believed in his ideas, had he acted upon them,

Which may have gone incorrect, with the passing time,

But became source of greater themes, inspiration for many.

And forever him, we shall miss,

For he could have been the beam, for our flying dreams
